TMX Group, the merged Toronto and Montreal exchanges, was forced to suspend trading last Wednesday, Dec. 17, after experiencing a problem with distribution of its Level 1 data feeds, caused by synchronization issues between the exchange's primary and backup feed generators. The Singapore Exchange also suffered datafeed disruptions the same day as a result of network connectivity issues, caused by a faulty network switch.
