George Weiss Installs Aleri CEP Engine
Weiss will go live on the Aleri Streaming Platform from Chicago-based data software vendor Aleri in January, initially to perform simple portfolio profit and loss calculations in real time, according to Albert Doolittle, head of technology research at Weiss Special Operations, the firm's back office and infrastructure group.
However, he says the firm plans to use the Aleri platform to build other applications to perform other functions as Weiss' technology staff becomes familiar with the product
