One typical internal project was Morgan Stanley's effort to leverage itsmarket data contracts across the firm to save costs (Feb. 7). The firm plannedto take advantage of the procurement function of the "market data company" inthe institutional business and hold regular meetings with suppliers to help improvetheir service to the bank.
