Bloomberg News Suit Moves Forward

A discrimination lawsuit brought against Bloomberg by a former executive in its radio business is about to move into the discovery phase of proceedings, Inside Market Data has learned.
James Kingsland, the former director of afternoon news for Bloomberg's radio business, is suing Bloomberg and his former boss Michael Clancy, managing editor of broadcast news for the Americas, claiming that he was demoted when he returned to work following a life-threatening illness and operation.
