Chi-X Takes On LSE with UK Stock Data

The move signals the start of a broader push into UK equities for Chi-X, which expects to offer trading in all FTSE 100 stocks in the near future.

The initial UK stocks on which Chi-X will trade and provide data include mining companies Anglo American, BHP Billiton, Rio Tinto Group and Xstrata; oil companies BP and Royal Dutch Shell; pharmaceuticals AstraZeneca and GlaxoSmithkline; financials Barclays, HSBC and Royal Bank of Scotland; and telecom operators BT and Vodafone.
