BoNY Goes Up North
The Bank of New York is to provide corporate actions processing for Scandinavian banking group Nordea as part of a global custody agreement between the two. Nordea currently uses a network of sub-custodians around the world. BoNY will also be responsible for related technology and infrastructure outside the Nordic region, says Birger Gezelius, head of Nordea's Financial Institutions division.
