Thomson Financial Services Inc.'s First Call Corp. has signed two more broker contributors -- Montgomery Securities and Bear Stearns & Co. -- to its Research Direct service, a full text graphical research delivery system. Meanwhile, in a separate deal, Desktop Data Inc. has agreed to carry Research Direct over its Newsedge service, a real-time news consolidation and management system. The deal with Desktop Data -- a firm that recently opted to go public (see related story, this issue) --
