Salomon Brothers Takes ADP; Quotron Takes Salomon To Arbitration

Salomon Brothers Inc. two weeks ago ended a seemingly interminable search for a replacement to its Quotron service, choosing ADP's FS Partner for Windows for some 500 investment bankers and research staff. Jilted Quotron, meanwhile, is heading to arbitration with Salomon over more than a million dollars it says the firm still owes.

Quotron had earlier initiated a debt-collection effort through the courts, but then agreed with Salomon to submit to the decision of a New York-based arbitration firm
