BOSTON--Thomson Financial Services last week began offering individual investors free real-time quotes over the public Internet. Its new Thomson RTQ service carries prices from the New York and American stock exchanges and Nasdaq, in combination with some fundamental data and technical analysis from various Thomson Financial units, as well as access to online trading capabilities offered by sponsors.
