PC Quote Hyperfeed Now Shipping At 112 Kilobits/Sec.

PC Quote Inc. has begun rolling out a 112 kilobit/second version of its Hyperfeed digital data feed. The feed -- previously delivered at 56 kilobits/second -- is the first digital data feed to advance to the 112 mark.
According to PC Quote chairman Lou Morgan, the vendor increased its bandwidth in order to accommodate increased volume on the Consolidated Tape Authority's exchange feed and the shift of its vendor feed from 9.6 to 19.2 kilobits/second. Morgan says the vendor also must increase
