Jefferies To Offer Proprietary Research Via New Web Site

Jefferies & Co. is developing a site on the World Wide Web that will provide its customers with free access to its research documents. The Web site is due to be launched in the first quarter of 1997. Jefferies is also building an intranet that will be used to distribute its research reports firm-wide.
The Web site will give Jefferies' clients access to the same research the firm currently makes available via Multex Systems' Multex Publisher full-text, research distribution service, says Russ
