Bids Due For Wrightson's Commentary Business

NEW YORK--June 15 has been set as the deadline for preliminary bids for the commentary firm R.H. Wrightson & Associates, which put itself on the sales block last year. At least three parties have expressed an interest in the company, although the larger mainstream commentary players are noticeably absent from the list.

Wrightson primarily offers commentary on the Treasury markets, and is well known for its Fed-watching services. The company, which was founded in 1978 by Richard Wrightson
