Nexa Builds TSX Tick Database

INSIDE MARKET DATA SIA SHOW 2005 REVIEW

Tick Data, a division of Irvine, Calif.-based Nexa Technologies, has added data from the Toronto Stock Exchange to its line-up of historical databases for customers that are developing algorithmic trading strategies.

The database, which is available as of today, Monday, June 27, will contain trade and quote data for equities traded on TSX going back to the start of 2001. Users—typically traders on a desk, portfolio managers at mutual funds or model builders at hedge funds—can use the data to back
