Intranet Featured At Kick-Off Fete For Merrill's TGA

Word that Merrill Lynch & Co. is rolling out an intranet to provide information to its network of brokers emerged as the firm finally and formally launched its long-planned Trusted Global Advisor (TGA) retail broker workstation. Merrill is making both the TGA platform and the intranet available to brokers in September, and the intranet to the rest of the firm's employees soon after.
TGA, and its ILX Systems-provided data, will be installed in some 600 branch offices and 25,000 IBM Pentium-based
