Multex Systems Approaches TFS About Buy-Out

Multex Systems Inc. last month approached archrival First Call Corp. about a buy-out. While Multex denies it's shopping itself around, First Call officials say sell off talks took place. Multex's Publisher service and First Call's Research Direct have been battling it out in the full-text, graphical research distribution service market for over two years.
