Telerate Dumps, Then Sells Rights To Computrac

A trio of ex-employees of Telerate's former Computrac software division has formed a company, called Stratagem Software International Inc., to take over development and support of Telerate's PC-based Computrac product. The initiative comes just weeks after Dow Jones Telerate abruptly ceased all support and development of the product, promising refunds of customers' $300 annual maintenance checks.
