Factiva Focuses On Technology

News and information aggregator Factiva is changing its business plan to focus on technology and consulting services to supplement its content.

The joint venture between Dow Jones and Reuters, which was launched in 1999, amasses 120,000 news articles every day from more than 8,000 sources. But as the information aggregator market becomes ever more crowded, Factiva is trying to distinguish itself from the crowd with technology.

Patricia Sabosik, Factiva’s vice president of global marketing, says
