CBOT Tests IP Network
EXCHANGE WATCH
The Chicago Board of Trade’s (CBOT) IP network begins testing today, Aug. 4. The network, provided by Radianz, will eventually replace the exchange’s serial feed network.
The Radianz connections were installed at quote vendors in July and router connections were finalized last week, so the system is now ready to send test messages to the vendors, says Steven Dickey, vice-president of market data products and information at CBOT.
Testing will take place over a total of 50 connections with 35 quote
