McGraw-Hill Sets Up New S&P Unit, Buys 25 Percent Stake in DPC Data

NEW YORK: McGraw-Hill's Standard & Poor's division is consolidating several of its previously separate information services under one unit to be called Standard & Poor's E-Business Services. E-Business Services will have its own profit and loss responsibilities and will be broken out as a distinct business unit.
The new group will be responsible for strategic alliances and partnerships in the electronic marketplace.
