MSN Inks Deal With Bridge; Adds Asian Coverage

NEW YORK--Market News Service is expanding its distribution. The financial newswire, which launched on Bloomberg last June, is expected to go live on Bridge Information Systems shortly. At the same time, MNS is expanding its coverage by opening news bureaus in Asia.

Michael Connor, president and CEO, says a deal the newswire signed with Dow Jones Telerate in 1988 prevented MNS from distributing its service over Bloomberg. The deal with Telerate restricted MNS' distribution to the redistributors
