Revenues Up at SGX

The Singapore Exchange (SGX) has remained one of the few exchanges in the Asia-Pacific to raise its market data revenues, reporting a 4.4 percent increase in revenue for the first quarter of 2004 compared with the same period in 2003.

Revenue from market data was up to S$3.43 million for the first quarter of 2004, compared with S$3.28 million a year earlier. In a report accompanying the results, SGX officials said the rise could be largely attributed to higher income from SecuritiesBook
