Knight-Ridder Tackles Distributor Certification For Its Digital Data Feed

Knight-Ridder Inc. is set to tackle certification of all third- party distributors of its Digital Data Feed (DDF). To that end, the vendor is readying a list of requirements it will expect local distributors to meet before they can be certified to handle DDF. DDF subscribers with home-tooled data distribution platforms will not be subject to the certification procedure -- at least initially -- but will be monitored through individual audits.
