Is Bloomberg Giving It All Away?

Last week the press was full of headlines saying that Mike Bloomberg plans to sell Bloomberg LLP. While we always welcome being proven right--see our column from six months ago on the possibility of Bloomberg being sold (IMD, June 28)--we're not so sure that this is the evidence we need.
The numerous reports are all based on a Dec. 5 story in the Daily Telegraph, although Bloomberg's comments were first reported in New York's Daily News on Nov. 24. Whatever the source, the point was the same
