Sell Side Will Increase Use of RIXML, Study Says

RESEARCH AND COMMENTARY

All the major sell-side firms will be producing RIXML (Research Information Exchange Markup Language)-compliant research by the end of 2003, helping to solve the issue of information overload for the buy side, according to a report released last week by TowerGroup.

The buy side is deluged with over 100,000 analyst research reports each week, according to Jean-Paul Carbonnier, author of the TowerGroup's report, Research Production and Distribution: The Promise of RIXML.
