S&P Comstock Looks to Institutions, Adds Content

NEW YORK--In the last two months, Standard & Poor's Comstock has received about seven to ten requests for proposals from institutions looking for a new data provider, says Don Finucane, S&P Comstock's vice president of marketing and product management. He says the RFPs offer hope during a slow third quarter.

S&P Comstock is showing the institutions its Xpressfeed and Xstream products.

"Firms are looking for alternative data vendors, because some might not be comfortable with the choices now
