Baird & Co. has found its solution: The retail broker last month signed a letter of intent to purchase a pair of products from Beta Systems Inc. -- Betaquotes for Windows and Beta's back- office software. Baird, which picked Beta's systems only after evaluating retail quote services offered by ILX Systems Inc. and Shark parent ADP, will roll
