Thomson to Merge Fixed-Income Assets

Thomson Financial plans to merge all of its fixed-income assets, including the core Thomson One Yield product, into TradeWeb, officials tell Inside Market Data. They also say that despite talk in the market about problems with One Yield, the product is attracting clients.
"Thomson One Yield is going to go away and we’re integrating all of Thomson Financial’s fixed-income assets into TradeWeb," says Jim Fiesel, head of fixed income at Thomson.
