Dow Jones Markets Ready To Roll New Front End


NEW YORK--Dow Jones Markets is gearing up to roll out the first product of its $650 million revamp plan--the Active1 front end. The offering leverages Microsoft technologies for ease of use and visual linking capabilities.

Commercially available in January, Active1, which Microsoft will include in its product pavilion at the Comdex trade show in Las Vegas, Nev., is the first step in a revamping of DJM applications such as the Dow Jones Workstation and Tradestation. "Active1 is the future for all
