ISE Offers Details Of RNS, Proposes Interim Set-Up

The International (London) Stock exchange last week outlined to member firms its proposed Regulatory New Service, a digital feed that will provide company announcements to stock exchange services and third-party vendors simultaneously. The service is aimed at appeasing vendors that charge that the exchange has a monopoly over U.K. company news through its Company News Service, carried exclusively by its TOPIC service.

But the ISE, citing "technical reasons," has delayed launch of the service
