Bursa Malaysia Modernizes


Bursa Malaysia is overhauling its information services as part of a larger project to roll out the Common Trading Platform, officials say.

The project involves consolidating equities and derivatives trading systems onto one platform. As a result, equities and derivatives prices will be available on both derivatives and equities terminals, says Fathi Ridzuan Ahmad Fauzi, head of exchanges at Bursa Malaysia Berhad. "Basically you can have one terminal assessing both markets," he says, adding that
