Reuters Advances in Its News Reorganization

Reuters has eliminated the position of global head of news in the first major layoff from the merger of its news and data operations group, the vendor confirmed last week. Stephen Jukes will leave the company and his responsibilities will be divided among other Reuters executives.
Izabel Grindal, managing editor and head of content specialists, becomes global head of specialists, news and data. Grindal will ensure that the content requirements of the customer segments are understood, documented
