Salomon Smith Barney Completes NextGen Rollout

NEW YORK: Salomon Smith Barney has completed the rollout of its retail broker workstation, NextGen. The system incorporates real-time market data from ADP's Power Partner, making Salomon Smith Barney the largest customer for ADP, with some 18,700 positions in the field.

The project to upgrade from Smith Barney's predecessor, ADP's FS Partner, was begun in 1995 and the rollout schedule started in March of 1997. NextGen now serves 430 branches.
