Tibco Readies Cybertib, Other Tools; Key Customers Await Product Release
APPLICATIONS AND PRODUCTS
Tibco is set to release Cybertib, a group of applications that serve as an interface between Tibco's Information Bus (TIB) and the Internet. At the same time, Tibco is exploring other avenues onto the Net, the most noteworthy of which is an as-of-yet unnamed project internally called TIB-enabled-Java, which will program TIB technology to allow users to build applications using Sun Microsystems' Java Internet programming language. That product is slated to be released in July.
