New Wingz In Betas; Informix Signs Development Partner, Too

Informix Software Inc., in conjunction with a new development partner, has begun beta testing a long-overdue release of its Wingz Real Time spreadsheet software at over a dozen sites -- including Chase Manhattan Bank, Lehman Brothers Inc. and Morgan Stanley & Co. in New York. The new release follows more than a year in which the vendor suspended development of Wingz and rethought its commitment to the financial services spreadsheet market.
