CBOT Discovers Bloomberg For Treasury Trading System
PROPRIETARY EXECUTION
The Chicago Board of Trade has tapped Bloomberg L.P. to provide the network and input devices for the Chicago Board Brokerage, the exchange's long planned cash Treasury trading system whose software was to be provided by EJV Brokerage Inc.
Under the latest plans -- in a project that still awaits regulatory approval -- CBOT member firms will be able to use Bloomberg terminals to input orders and track trades. At no charge to the CBOT, Bloomberg's network will carry and manage the order traffic
