Latest To Quit Reuters Hong Kong: Bruce Mitchell, Liz Gallagher

Over the past two weeks, Reuters has lost more staff from its sales and marketing groups in Hong Kong. Bruce Mitchell, a long-time Reuters veteran most recently charged with boosting volumes on Dealing 2000-2, has walked. Elizabeth Gallagher, an account manager handling many of the larger banks in Hong Kong, also tendered her resignation. They are the most recent of a steady stream of largely unrelated departures from the vendor over the past six months or so.
