Eurex Mis-Trade Means Double Blow For Deutsche Boerse

FRANKFURT--Deutsche Boerse Group suffered a blow to its Eurex derivatives electronic trading system, just a day after downtime on its Xetra system, as a trading error led to wild price movements and cancellation of trades on November 20.

Eurex has rejected suggestions that its software was in any way to blame for the latest problem, and is talking to market participants in an attempt to identify solutions to prevent similar recurrences.
