OPRA Rule Change Would Give Some Integrators A New Role
PRODUCTS AND VENDORS
Under a recent Options Price Reporting Authority proposal, vendors who provide permissioning and entitlement software for digital data feeds could elect to assume responsibility for tracking and reporting customers' OPRA data usage. As part of the proposal, filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission, OPRA is seeking to charge those vendors who sign on a flat fee of $2,800 per month.
The proposal provides considerable incentive for customers to encourage their data distribution system
