Teknekron TIB To Be Ousted From Shearson's OTC Desk

Shearson Lehman Brothers Inc. plans to de-install Teknekron Software Systems Corp.'s TIB feed-handling software from its OTC equities trading desk in New York. The firm will replace it with a local data distribution system that will accommodate NASDAQ data -- which is now being delivered to a dedicated terminal sitting alongside traders' Sun Microsystems Inc. workstations.
