Novell Sets Sights On Front Office, Wants NetWare To Deliver Market Data

Networking specialist Novell is preparing a major push into the dealing room market. Ultimately, Novell will seek a role for Netware as a mechanism to reliably transport real-time market data--a role now played by Teknekron's Information Bus, Reuters' Triarch 2000 and other digital data delivery platforms.
Thus far, Novell has allied itself with a U.K.-based company formed recently by a group of high-profile veterans of Reuters and Dow Jones Telerate. Novell has appointed that company, called
