Reuters Plans Intranet-Delivered Data Service For Non-Traders

Reuters plans to launch a new intranet-based data service in the US this April. The planned service will deliver up-to-date but non-dynamic Reuters data to users not located on the trading floor. The Reuters Market Monitor (RMM) uses existing Reuters data-delivery methods integrated with Internet protocols as well as technology from an outside vendor: Cambridge, Mass.-based The Internet Company.
