Neonet Connects To Nasdaq; More Exchanges to Come

STOCKHOLM--Swedish broker/dealer and "virtual exchange" Neonet began offering live electronic trading on Nasdaq last week and is pressing ahead with projects to offer access to more exchanges--including Virt-X, Milan and the New York Stock Exchange--having put last year’s poor results behind it.

No clients were trading live on Nasdaq via Neonet at the launch, but Neonet CEO Torvald Bohlin says a few Swedish clients have been connected in the first week, and others will connect shortly. Bohlin
