Reuters To Enforce Minimum Use Rules For D2000-2: 40 Deals Per Month

VENDOR STRATEGIES

Reuters plans to start holding users of its Dealing 2000-2 foreign exchange matching service to a provision for minimum usage in its contract that the vendor has hitherto waived. Roslyn Wilton, Reuters' head of transaction products, says the vendor will begin enforcing the rule in January.

That rule calls for each keystation to be used for a minimum of 40 deals per month, or roughly two deals per day. The alternative to the minimum usage is a $1,000-per-month fee for each keystation, says Wilton
