The SEC Revamps Regulation For Alternative Trading Systems

WASHINGTON, DC--The Securities and Exchange Commission has modified its regulations in regard to alternative trading systems and registered exchanges. The new regulatory framework specifically tightens the oversight of the loosely regulated alternative trading systems, which include the likes of Reuters' Instinet and Bloomberg's Tradebook.
