J.P. Morgan To Name Teknekron 'Strategic Vendor' In Global Deal Worth 2,000 Positions Over Five Years

J.P. Morgan & Co. has selected Teknekron Software Systems Inc. as the so-called strategic vendor that will be charged with satisfying the bank's data distribution needs over the next five years. The vendor was selected following a final round of evaluations that pitted it against Micrognosis Inc. and Reuters. For Micrognosis, whose largest customer Morgan almost certainly is, the decision represents a significant loss.
