Javelin To FIX-Enable Instinet Clearing and Settlement

NEW YORK--Instinet has signed an agreement with FIX vendor Javelin that will allow for the FIX-enabling of the agency broker’s clearing and settlement arm, Instinet Clearing Services (ICS).
For the first time, Javelin will implement its FIX solutions in the back office for clearing and settlement functions.
The decision by Instinet to FIX-enable its clearing and settlement practice adheres to its recently initiated policy of openness. As part of this new policy, Instinet has recently established
