Reuters' ambitious data warehouse project, known internally as Armstrong, will form the foundation for a series of new services that will complement Reuters' real-time information with a greatly increased set of historical, descriptive and corporate fundamentals data. The new infrastructure includes a massively parallel processor and session-based access mechanisms.
