Sungard, ITG, Sun and OM Report Earnings

EARNINGS REPORT

Financial technology vendors turned up a mixed bag in earnings reports delivered last week, most of which met analyst expectations.

SUNGARD

Sungard reported earnings per share of $0.27 for the first quarter of 2002, up 17 percent over the same period last year, excluding all acquisition-related costs. Net income rose 14 percent to $0.24 per share, or $71 million in total, a 30 percent increase over the previous period. Revenue rose 34 percent to $608.2 million.
