As Prospectus Goes To SEC, Details Of IPC'S IPO Emerge

IPC Information Systems Inc. has issued a preliminary prospectus for an initial public offering to sell some 30 percent of its equity. In it, the trading room turret vendor revealed considerable details as to its P&L over the past few years, as well as the -- relatively modest -- salaries of its top five executives. According to the preliminary prospectus, received by the Securities and Exchange Commission May 12, IPC claimed revenues of nearly $113 million for the year ending Sept. 30, 1993 --
