WestLB Deploys PC Blades in Tokyo

TOKYO—WestLB has deployed a PC blade solution set from ClearCube Technology for its new trading floor in the Roppongi Hills Mori Tower in central Tokyo, say sources familiar with the situation.
The PC blade approach locates the CPU and other key elements of a desktop PC in a data center, freeing up traders’ desktops. ClearCube provides end users with a C/Port link to the PC blade, a monitor and keyboard, a cage for the PC blade, the PC blade itself and management software.
